500ml

Highly concentrated food supplement with a berry flavor.

HEKA Collagen shot is a highly concentrated food supplement containing 10,000 mg of fish collagen of Type I and III, hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and other key vitamins for best efficiency. With its low molecular weight, fish collagen guarantees the best bioavailability and thus provides the best natural absorption. With age, the level of natural collagen starts to deteriorate in the body, and it is recommended to add it as a food supplement.

WHO IS THE PRODUCT FOR ?

HEKA Collagen shot can be used by anyone aged 20 or more, since at that time the collagen production in the body starts to decline. We recommend it to all who have problems with osteoporosis, experience movement-evoked pain, overload their musculoskeletal system, apply pressure to their knees during sports or work and to all young people with problems associated with growth. Collagen deficiency may cause the following symptoms: loss of skin elasticity, formation of wrinkles, thin and brittle hair, muscle weakness, thin and fragile nails, fatigue, intestinal problems, skin rash or hormonal imbalance.

WHAT ARE ITS EFFECTS ?

HEKA Collagen shot combines the power of hydrolysed form of fish collagen with a wide spectrum and concentration of peptide molecules, while, in combination with vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and vitamins B, it provides the skin with the most necessary building blocks for collagen regeneration in the body. Premium formula enables excellent absorption of collagen where the body needs it the most. A body in a natural process of ageing loses certain nutrients, and thus regular consumption of collagen and other active substances takes care of elastic skin, shiny and healthy hair, stimulating hair growth, strong nails, flexible joints, balanced digesting and well-being.

COLLAGEN IN GENERAL

The most important function of collagen in tissues is to provide their strength. Collagen is the main protein, since it represents between 25% and 30% of all proteins in our body, meaning approximately one third of the body structure, and 80% of dermis. It can be found in cartilage, skin, teeth, nails, muscle tendons, walls of body organs and hair. There are 16 types of collagen, while 80%-90% of collagen in the body is of Type I, II and III. The most abundant collagen in the body is Type I collagen. HEKA Collagen is hydrolysed, meaning that a process of hydrolysis is used for its production where collagen is broken to small basic building blocks, i.e. peptides. In the gastrointestinal tract, peptides are more easily decomposed to their basic building blocks – amino acids and can be therefore more easily absorbed.

COLLAGEN TYPES

  • TYPE I COLLAGEN is present in tendons, ligaments and bones where it generates strong fibrous tissues (rope-like), since tendons and ligaments must withstand strong strains.
It is also a part of the skin. In terms of food, it is most abundant in sea food (fish), while it is also present in pork and beef.
  • TYPE II COLLAGEN is most frequently found in cartilage where it creates thick grids of very thin fibres, since the cartilage is exposed to pressure from all sides. It can be found in poultry and beef (cartilage).
  • TYPE III COLLAGEN is the second most common collagen in tissues. It can be found mainly in tissues with elastic properties, such as skin, lungs, intestinal wall, blood vessel walls, and also in bones, cartilage, dentine (calcified tissue on teeth), tendons and other connective tissues. It is present in pork together with Type I collagen, and in beef (in particular in beef skin).
